The Guinness Book of World Records has recognized The American Dream, a personalized limousine, as the longest car in the world. The limousine was restored from the parts of the original, record-breaking vehicle and was awarded to Michael Dezer in Orlando on March 1.The length of the car is 30.45 meters (100 feet) and it weighs 25,000 pounds. This is The American Dream, the longest limousine in the world, at least according to Guinness World Records. At 100 feet and 1.5 inches, it's hard to imagine that there are many contenders for the title.
But as impressive as this enormous Cadillac is, with its helipad and space for up to 75 people, what's even more impressive is that its restoration was completed. The limousine was in terrible condition when it was found, a rotten shell that would take a gigantic effort to bring it back to life. The recently restored vehicle, built from six 1976 Cadillac Eldorado limousines, is spectacular with 26 wheels and space for up to 75 people. Last week, Guinness World Records declared it the longest car in the world.
